I dedicate this website to the memory of Clarke E. Hess (1954-2018).

He loved Lancaster County's cultural heritage.

And, he was related to Dillman Bomberger.

He was Dillman's second cousin twice-removed.

Dillman's great-great grandparents once owned our former home, the Hess Homestead.

They were Preacher John Hess (1768-1830) and Esther (Hershey) Hess (1769-1824).

They were deeded this Hess Homestead in 1790.

In the 1790s Dillman's great-great grandparents lived here, Preacher John and Esther Hess.
